  • Transfers/How do I get paid?

    You can transfer your funds "Payouts" by logging to your Dashboard here to manually settle your account at any time. Payouts are processed via BACS and take 2-3 business days to appear in your account. You can also register your bank account details and see past transfers in your Dashboard. Please refer to 'How can I update my bank details in my Judopay account?'.

  • Can I store multiple cards for one consumer?

    If you are allowing consumers to register or make payments with more than one card within your app you will receive a cardToken and consumerToken pair at point of registration or payment. You will receive the same consumerToken each time but the cardTokens will be different for each card used. This allows you to store multiple cardTokens associated with one consumer. When processing repeat payments, Judopay requires both the card and consumer tokens.

  • Can a single Judopay account settle to multiple bank accounts?

    Unfortunately, only a single bank account may be defined for each Judopay merchant account. However, once the funds have hit your account, you (the merchant) could manually distribute them as required.

  • Can I check whether a card is valid without charging it at the same time?

    Yes. When you save card information with Judopay we verify the card for you. This verification does confirm the card details entered are valid and relate to a real payment card, it does not guarantee that there will be sufficient funds available on that card to make a transaction, but it eliminates common mistakes such as typos.

  • Can payment card info be saved so that customers do not have to enter it again later?

    Absolutely – Judopay processes card details based on an encrypted digital token. On the first transaction (or registration), your customer's sensitive payment information is converted into a unique token. You are responsible for storing this token and passing it to Judopay when you are processing a repeat transaction. You should take appropriate steps to protect this data and ensure the token is only accessed following a secure log in from your user (SSL).   • Can I pre-authorise a card and collect payment later?

    Yes. Card Pre-authorisation is available; the collection just has to be processed within 3 business days or renewed. Follow the tutorials below to find out more.   • Does Judopay track and store the tokens, allowing me to process repeat or one-click payments?

    If you wish to process future payments (repeat payments) on a consumer’s card you should capture the consumerToken and cardToken from the response and store these securely on your users device. You will also need this information to initiate one-click payments from your app. For more information on completing repeat payments, see our API reference here.

    Yes, multiple card tokens can be tied to a single consumer refernce but only a single consumer reference can be tied to any card token.

  • How much I am charged per transaction?

    1. Log in to your Judopay account at 2. Click on 'Settings' on the left-hand side 3. In Account Summary, you can find your transaction fee. Please Note: If you have a custom contract in place with Judopay, this may override the fees displayed in your Judopay dashboard. You can also find your funding delay, which is the number of days per transaction that your funds will be available to transfer into your bank account.
