What is Judopay? I do not recognise a payment on my bank statement

Payments made via Judopay may be prefaced by ‘APL’, ‘APL/’ or ‘APL*/’ on your bank statements. APL stands for Alternative Payments Limited. 

The text after ‘/’ will be the trading name of the business you’ve made the purchase from. For example, Mike’s Café might appear on your statement as ‘APL/MikesCafe.’

If you’re viewing your payments in your Apple Pay sleeve, the charges on your statement will be prefaced by ‘/’ only, so Mike’s Café appears as /MikesCafe.
